Request for Qualifications for Deconstruction Consulting

The CCLRC has posted a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for deconstruction consulting. Consultants wishing to submit proposals for this work should carefully review the RFQ and submit a conforming proposal by the February 1 deadline. Click to download the RFQ.

A part of returning property to productive use includes effective triage of property that the CCLRC obtains. More specifically, as properties flow into the CCLRC, a decision will be made whether to demolish, deconstruct, renovate, rent or sell each property. In situations where the CCLRC intends to demolish or deconstruct, where economically feasible, it would prefer to salvage useful materials in order to reutilize them, prevent waste and create additional revenue streams. The CCLRC seeks consulting assistance to better understand markets for salvaged materials and best practices, and to develop the resources required to perform deconstruction in cases where it is indicated.
